What Does A Typical Day At Day Care Look Like?
#1
Check-In b/w 7-9a.m.
Upon Arrival, you and your dog are greeted by staff. If you’re new to daycare, you’ll need to schedule a Meet and Greet prior to your first session to make sure your pup is a good fit for us (and vice versa).
#2
Group Play Time
Your dog joins the fun with other daycare pups and our pet care specialists in our indoor/outdoor play yards for group activity. Dogs are divided into smaller play groups based on their play style and size. They are rotated every hour to explore new areas.
#3
Nap Time
After group play time, the dogs will relax between 12-2 pm taking a mid-day snooze to get ready for more afternoon play. If your pet is only staying half the day, then they would be picked up prior to noon.
#4
MORE Play Time
In the afternoons, the dogs go for round 2 of activities- running around, playing fetch, or getting a good belly rub.
#5
Extras
We want your dog to love their visit with us at The Barkstead, so make sure your dog gets a refreshing bath, snuffle mat session, or even one of our gourmet treats on our add-on menu.
#6
Pick-Up
All fun days must come to an end. When you arrive to pick-up our staff will give you a verbal report to fill you in on their day.
